Biography

Vqee was born and raised in the beautiful land of Kenya in the East of the African continent.She is bred of two tribes...the KIKUYU from the central part of Kenya and the KAMBA from the east.....she grew up in the cosmopolitan capital, NAIROBI in the midst of different cultures,tribes and lifestyles and has worked with several theatre and musical directors including Guy Lenoir,John Martin, Sammy Mwangi and Toby Gough on various theatrical and Musical productions.

Her journey took her to various countries including Ghana and Cote DIvoire where she studied in African dance and drumming and to the US where she lived for five years and performed in several productions and worked with actors,musicians, choreographers and filmmakers.

She now lives in Denmark in the heart of Copenhagen where she continues to draw out her passions and is working with singer/songwriter/producer Claus Seest on her debut album....She blends elements of the various parts of the world that she has taken in into her song,her dance,her acting with such passion and soul for all to enjoy and savour...
